Teaching Philosophy

What is my teaching philosophy?

“My teaching philosophy is to teach my students with respect and to meet the needs of all my students. Whether it is adjusting my lessons, assignments, tests, and teaching strategies, I want all my students in the classroom to learn the same material and feel that they can be successful. I do not want students to leave my classroom and say, “Wow, that lesson was boring and I didn’t know what was going on.” I want my students to feel engaged and ready to learn, and I want them all to feel welcome in my classroom. I want there to be a learning community inside my classroom where we all get along and share our values and beliefs, and if the student’s have a problem, then I am there to talk to.” – Mandy Vanrobaeys
